Nowadays it is impossible to imagine a person’s everyday life without using gadgets. Some people claim that there is an obsession with modern technologies, while others argue that people can still live without applying devices.
In this essay I want to express my point of view on this issue. Personally, I think that people are addicted to gadgets. To begin with, one’s routine is extremely connected with using technologies. People cannot imagine their lives without a smartphone, a laptop or other electronic devices. In addition, education and work are dependent on modern technologies.
It is unfeasible to do an important project or relevant research without using the Internet and different gadgets. There is another side to the issue. My opponents think that people do not depend on technology.
Moreover, it is possible to do many things without modern technologies and some people still buy paper books or wash the dishes by themselves. I am afraid I cannot agree with this point of view. I believe that it is obvious that e-books are becoming more and more popular and people prefer using dishwashing machines to washing the dishes on their own.
To sum up, I strongly believe that modern people are extremely obsessed with gadgets and this can easily influence their lives.
