Nowadays the problem of juggling children and a career is widely discussed. Some people believe that a decent mother should sacrifice her own ambitions to put her family first. Others suppose that it is possible for a good mother to continue working. In my opinion, a good mother should not give up her job and stay at home.
To begin with, a woman can get a nanny and find a part-time job to keep working. In this case, she will have enough time to spend it with her children. Moreover, some women raise their children alone and cannot give up on their jobs because they have no other sources of money. There is another side to the issue.
My opponents claim that a woman should remain unemployed because of having children. They say that it is better not to get distracted on other duties when there is a child at home who needs attention. Nevertheless, I disagree with the opponents’ opinion.
I strongly believe that it is possible to do a balancing act between children and work without sacrificing a career. All in all, I believe that staying employed is the best choice for a woman who has a child as it is possible to combine children with a career.
