Nowadays some people claim that the Internet is an international problem, while others argue that the Internet is the best invention of all time. In this essay I would like to express my point of view on this issue.
Personally, I think that the Internet is the most valuable thing for modern people. To begin with, the World Wide Web makes it possible to find necessary information in a few seconds. It makes people’s lives more convenient. In addition, one can use the Internet for many different purposes such as watching films, reading books, studying and many others.
Moreover, the Internet is a kind of a connection between many countries and people. People can easily talk to their friends while being in different parts of the world. However, some people think that the Internet is a major evil of the modern world.
They are sure that people usually waste their time surfing the Internet. I am afraid I cannot agree with this opinion because on the Internet people can find a lot of information enriching their knowledge.
People decide on their own how to spend their time on the Internet: to look for something useful or to waste it. To sum up, I strongly believe that the Internet is the most important achievement of the 20th century, which makes people’s lives better.
