Feminism is extremely popular nowadays. There is a popular opinion that feminism is what all women should follow. At the same time, there are some people who believe that not all females have to be feminists.
Now I would like to express my point of view on this issue. In my opinion, feminism should be followed by all women. Firstly, due to this movement women have an opportunity to do what they want. Being a feminist, a woman can be a housewife or a careerist.
Secondly, there are a lot of gender stereotypes that should be broken by feminists. Many people do not consider women’s opinions worthwhile only because of these stereotypes. There is another side to the issue. My opponents claim that women should not follow feminism.
They say that gender equality has already been achieved, that is why it does not make sense for women to be on the side of feminism. Personally, I cannot agree with this opinion. I suppose that official researches prove that nowadays inequality exists in all spheres.
Stereotypes make women suffer. In conclusion, I would like to say that it is extremely significant for all women to follow feminism in order to break all stereotypes and achieve equality.
